Once in a while I like to review the stats relating to the big questions. Are my site visitors more likely to come from desktop, mobile, or tablet? As we can see below they are most likely to come from mobile Next we ask: what search engine do they use? The answer to this question means we can prioritise the search engine we perform best on…
Let’s say I have a total of 1000 visits per month, it looks like 527 arrive on mobile, and 455 on desktop. Of the 527 mobile visitors, 519 came from Google, and of 455 desktop visitors 387 arrived via Google, therefore the total is 906 arrived from Google.
On this basis, I think it is safe to say we need to make sure Google likes our site!
FYI Bing will bring in 1 visitor on mobile and 47 visitors on desktop.
